I don’t have time this morning to run through all the races so thought I would just focus on the key ones and post selections. By now, you should be able to read through the sheets and arrive at your own selections, or at least shortlist a few to choose from and combined with GeeGeez Instant Expert and PACE angles etc, arrive at 1-2 selections per race. As I said, I’m prioritising being with my partner and family this next week or so but will find time to post more regular updates all through May and as I’m going to Musselburgh race will likely take a closer look at that meeting and post tomorrow.
Ayr 1:15 SANS BRUIT 3/1 the only qualifier after a decent win at Aintree.
Newb 1:30 Competitive John Porter. HAMISH 10/3 hits 4 profitable systems. PEKING OPERA 66/1 was 4th in the Irish Derby last year for AOB while MAX VEGA 18/1 has won this race and placed in the last few years.
Ayr 1:50 Mofasa unlikely to start as a Nicholls favourite so that leaves me with DEEPER BLUE 13/2 and Harry Fry has been amongst the winners of late and DONNY BOY 14/1 for an e/w shout.
Newb 2:05 Trappy Fred Darling. Keep it simple and go for the highest S/R and ROI qualifier STAR MUSIC 7/2
Ayr 2:25 I’m thinking an upset is due here. I’ll go with EFFERNOCK FIZZ 40/1 who hits 3 systems and last year’s 5th SALSADA 16/1.
Newb 2:40 Tricky looking Greenham and there have been shocks all week at Newmarket and Newbury so I’ll go with ROOM SERVICE 9/1 with an e/w on EL BODON 25/1.
Ayr 3:00 LARCHMONT LASS 5/1 the sole qualifier.
Newb 3:15 Will go with the multiple qualifiers REAL GAIN 14/1 and DASHING ROGER 33/1. Of the others, take your pick! I’d probably chance the Hannon pair also with extra places up for grabs with SIERRA BLANCA 40/1 and TALIS EVOLVERE 20/1
Ayr 3:35 Fairly simple choice here with neither Nicholls runner likely to start favourite so it’s ELVIS MAIL 50/1 for me hitting 2 systems.
Best of luck with your bets today
